Paul Minassian's Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1 Rally Car

We have competed at a high level in many rally events, acquiring a considerable amount of practical knowledge along the way with some of our Big Healey and Healey 3000 Restorations. We have been in close contact with original Austin Healey works rally cars, and utilise this first hand knowledge in our restoration works replicas.

Paul has competed in many of the rally events and has provided Big Healey technical support during countless others. Paul's regular driver for the long distance and international events has been Paul Minassian, driving a Healey 3000 for fast road events, a Volvo PV544 for rough forest or snow and ice events and a Peugeot 404 for long distance, raid-like events.


Paul Minassian also competes in the NHC built Healey 3000 rally car with navigator Colin Francis.

For many UK events Paul Grogan also navigated a Healey 3000 driven by Paul Houghton. All of these cars were rally prepared at The Northern Healey Centre's Castleford workshops.

The Northern Healey Centre has experience of modifying cars for most, if not all possible rally conditions. With our new built Austin Healey chassis and bodyshells we are able to offer as few or as many competition modifications as you need to give you the best car for your preferred event.
